I'm confused on the dredging. Is he stating that we are going to dredge the entire channel and they are
going to participate? I thought we were only involved in the channel between Coppell Rd. and
Westminster. Don't really have a response on the brick. If they're still structurally sound, not sure if we
should do anything to them.

Ken: Looks like these are yours (dredging, standing water, and bricks flaking on the bridge) I'll take a
look at the bridge problem today, but it looks to me to be a maintenance issue. Agree?

Any ideas on the following? I owe Larry a response. Thanks!

Clay -
Thanks for accepting my LinkedIn invite. Also, as you can see above, I got
your note on the e-mail address change.
I really did appreciate the lunch a few weeks back. Just enjoy catching up
with you, from time to time, since I don't see you that much anymore. Your
story about your illness was so disturbing mainly because I had no clue that
you had been sick. Obviously means I am too far out of touch.
Also wanted to circle back with you on the Coppell PD running speeding
checks over our way. Do you know if that has ever been done? I haven't seen
or heard anything, so I wasn't sure.

On the HOA's easement dredging, please get me an update on that as soon as
you can. We are about to spend some significant dollars on brick screening
wall repairs along Coppell Road. Would really like to be sure we don't
overspend in our Reserve Account and have enough to pay our share of
dredging. Also, as we discussed, we would like to make the standing water in
the easement go away before insect breeding season returns. Let me know as
soon as you can.
One new problem has reared its head over our way. During the recent cold
snap, the bricks on the City's side of the easement bridge on Westminster
Way, have begun to flake terribly. The bricks on the other side, which
belongs to the HOA, are not showing this problem. We discovered this when we
were finalizing the bids for our brick screening wall repairs. The amount of
flaking is very, very unusual, according to our brick repair people. The
brick is all Acme Brick, but the repair rep said that occasionally they just
make a very bad batch. You will probably want to have some of your folks
look at this. The wall is about 12 years old, but there should still be some
recourse with Acme.
Please keep me posted on these things and let me know if there is anything I
can do for you. Call you in a month, or so, to return the favor on the
lunch.
