On the sheet entitled “TH Program”, the notes should answer some of the questions.
We did not grow the pads or lot depths, they are still the same size. The former lot width of 30’ is changed to 35-
36’, so a 5 to 6’ sideyard is now planned.
I kept the end lots 5’ wider so the wall of the home stays 15’ back of curb and allows the overstory trees in the
streetscape room to grow.
I agree with you on the driveways and I don’t think it’s any problem to go to a wider alley either. I originally used
8’ behind the garage, but Mr. Cotten was afraid a TH resident might abuse that space by parking a car in it, i.e.,
parallel to the alley. They reduced them to 5’ in LaValita for this reason. The users back into the drive behind
them to get out.
The builders we met with two years ago were comfortable with the lot depth, and since the pad is so large, it
gives them the option of tucking the garage inside the first floor pad area some and building a little longer
driveway.

Greg: Just a couple of general comments as I have only scanned the attachments. One, are the units
detached, and if so, how far between units? Two, a 5 foot rear yard and a 20 foot alley doesn't leave much
room for maneuvering, especially with SUV sized vehicles!
