I know these last few weeks have been terrible. Hope things are starting to sort themselves out some for you and city staff members following this tragedy.   I hate to bug you, but the Asbury Manor HOA Board meets again this coming Saturday and I have been asked for an update on the brick wall (adjacent to the stone easement) on Westminster Way. You may recall that we found these bricks to be falling apart back in March and reported that to you. We also gave you the name of a contractor who had contacted Acme Brick and gotten them to agree to supply the brick needed to rebuild the wall and to pay for the labor. As this wall no longer belongs to our HOA, that work would have to be coordinated by the city. Would like to know where we are with this. We would like to dovetail the replacement of the brick wall on the north side (that belongs to our HOA) with the work done on the city’s wall. Please let me know whatever you can.   Thanks.   Larry Kingsbury (214) 762-3167 Mobile file://C:\Documents and Settings\lhenderson\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4C4CB1B...11/21/2011 Page 1 of 2 Ken Griffin - Re: Brick wall repair on Westminster Way Ken Griffin From:     To:Larry Kingsbury     Date:7/26/2010 10:56 AM     Subject:Re: Brick wall repair on Westminster Way       Larry   Our contractor was scheduled to start this morning.  We're using Brickmasters, which I think is the contractor that you provided to us.   If you have any questions on this you can contact myself or Glenn Hollowell at 972-304-5151.       Ken Griffin, P. The brick they are using is the same color but is slightly different in texture than the old brick. Unfortunately, Acme Brick does not make that exact same brick any longer and this is the closest match to it. The difference is so slight that you may not even have noticed it. If they also replace the HOA side of the bridge, they will have to use this same brick.   Just wanted to keep you informed. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me.   Thanks again,           Glenn D. Hollowell, P.E.
