We received a revised cost estimate today. I made a few adjustments, but they made little difference
on the bottom line. The estimated cost for the city is about $2,740,000 (2,500,000 - construction and
240,000 design). This number already takes into account any reimbursement from Cotton and Yancy.
Their share is currently estimated at $165,000 (150,000 - construction and 15,000 - design). These
numbers are very preliminary and subject to change as the design progresses.
I did review the Carter & Burgess estimate from 7/31/2007 and it was $2,853,571 (2,574,071 -
construction and 279,500 - design). Their revised estimate from 8/3/2007 was $2,982,520 (2,703,020 -
construction and 279,500 - design).
Unfortunately, I don't think this information helps.
