We have addressed your comments on the Cypress Waters — Saintsbury Street - Water & Wastewater Tie -in
Plans as described below and shown on the attached drawings.
Water
1. Delineate City of Coppell maintenance vs. City of Dallas.
a. The delineation is shown and labeled in the plan view on Sheet C -101.
2. All tie -ins, borings, etc. shall be per City of Coppell Standards.
a. Note #1 was added to the Sheet C -101.
3. Provide a compound meter instead of a transit time flow meter. Remove sump pump & power
service.
a. The transit time flow meter was removed and replaced with a compound meter as shown on
Sheet C -101 and C -111.
4. Provide backflow prevention device on the Dallas side of the meter.
a. A double check valve assembly was added as shown on Sheet C -101 and C -111.
5. All water line fittings, bends, valves, etc. shall have mega -lug type joint connections.
a. Note #2 was added to Sheet C -101.
6. All bends and tees shall have thrust blocks provided.
a. Note #3 was added to Sheet C -101.
7. Detail 1 — remove 10" segment of pipe between tee, valve and bend & provide flanged
connection.
a. Detail 1 on Sheet C -101 was revised.
8. No compact fittings.

a. Note #4 was added to Sheet C -101.
9. Use long sleeve dresser coupling to cut in 12 "x12" tee (both sides).
a. Note #5 was added to Sheet C -101.
10. Use City of Coppell standard on 4190 for lid on meter vault.
a. The City of Coppell Standard Detail 4190 is reference on the detail Sheet C -111.
Wastewater
11. Delineate City of Coppell maintenance vs. City of Dallas.
a. Note #2 was added to Sheet C -02.
12. Check proposed size of pipe in call at Sta: 1 +98.05 (15" vs. 16 ")
a. The size label was changed to 15" on Sheet C -02.
13. FYI, The City of Coppell has not seen nor approved wastewater plans for the line
being tied into by this construction. Additional comments or changes may be
necessary.
