Box 9478 Coppell, 'Texas 75019 -9478 RE: The construction, installation, maintenance and operation of two (2) 6 -feet wide sidewalks, crossing the Cotton Belt Line, approximately 60 -feet east and 60 -feet west of the centerline of Denton Tap Road South and within the right -of -way of the existing public road crossing, covered under Street or Highway Easement No. 681 (see attached), Mile Post 608.35, in Coppell, Dallas County, Texas. Dear Mr. Marshall: This letter is in regards to the above referenced project. Currently, DART does not require the City of Coppell (the "City") to install pedestrian warning gate equipment at the public road crossing. However, as future transit service is developed on the Cotton Belt Line, the City, at its sole cost, may be required at that time to install pedestrian warning gates. In addition, DART will require the City to maintain all repairs relating to the above referenced sidewalks. When such repairs are necessary, the City must notify DART in writing and coordinate flagging services with the Fort Worth & Western Railroad Company. If these conditions are acceptable to the City, please have the City Manager, Mr. Clay Philips, sign this letter below, with the original returned to me. Should you have any questions, please contact me at (214) 749 -2794 or via e-mail at sgray @dart.org. Yours truly, Shannon D.
