He said it’s unlikely there will be any cost dispute over the allowable since the contractor is already in a joint trench.   Verizon requires platted easements before they will work outside of the right-of-way, so we will have to get well ahead of JRJ’s calendar to make sure we’re done in advance. I’ve got a call into Mike Glenn at Glenn Engineering about doing all of our work from this point forward.   Has JRJ presented a schedule yet?   Thanks,   Gregory K. Here is the correct site plan and plat.   Where you see the labels “dedicated alley” there is a five-foot joint utility easement planned.   I’ll talk to Keith Marvin at the City about the timing on that, it sounds like we need to get the easements platted sooner.   Thanks again,   Gregory K. Based on information provided to me, the developers were to place the utility infrastructure within the development, per the city, which was to include piping for Verizon’s FiOS facilities, and for Oncor power, to be placed to each of the buildings, at this site.     Therefore, If the developer is not going to place the entrance pipes, etc. for Verizon facilities, as mandated by the city, then Verizon may not be able to serve this site with any type of communications services.   Please, advise as to when and why the decision was made, to not place these facilities, and by whom…   file://C:\Documents and Settings\lhenderson\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4E9EA9C8...11/30/2011 Page 4 of 4 I look forward to working with you, the owners and the city in resolving this outstanding issue.   Best Regards,   David B.
