Keith,
Attached is the estimate for the additional parking lot along Houston St.
There are a couple of questions that we have about the scope:
1.In addition to the parking lot, I recommend constructing the sidewalk along the north side of Houston St
between Hammond and Main St. I included quantities for the sidewalk in the estimate. Do you agree with
constructing the sidewalk in addition to the parking lot?
2.If we construct the sidewalk along the north side of Houston St, do we landscape the tree wells and parking
islands with this contract? We did not landscape the sidewalk areas around the park/square because of
future construction concerns. However, the restaurant parking area shouldn’t be affected by future
construction so I see no reason why we couldn’t include landscaping in this section (also included with this
estimate).
Also, I spoke with our surveyors about JRJ’s difficulty in finding the control points. They said all of the control points
are still out there along with quite a few lot corner iron rods. However, they are available when needed to go out
and reset control points. Just let us know.
