Mr. Hogan,
It appears the guy wire in that location is new. During the recent sidewalk installation there was a different guy wire
in place. There was a "sidewalk arm" over the sidewalk shifting the wire away from the sidewalk and then down. I
will need to contact the utility that is in charge of the guy wire. At this point I am not sure if it is Time Warner,
Verizon or Oncor but I will track it down and get the wire looked at.

While riding my bike this morning on the sidewalk on the west side of Denton Tap across the street from First
Baptist, I narrowly missed a support cable that looms over the sidewalk. The wire is not covered in the typical bright
yellow plastic. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt. At night it would be impossible to see. A
rider is at risk of hitting it and falling into traffic. The cable needs to be relocated.
