Subject: Deforest Road Project - Questions
Dear George,
I was unfortunately not able to make it to the meeting at Town Hall last night.
I live off of Parker Drive near the Deforest Road Project.
I just have two questions for you about the project:
1) Will they be including a bike lane, or at least a bit of a shoulder on the road? I am an avid biker and runner.
Although the posted Speed Limit is 30 mph nearly every car is traveling 40 mph or more along Deforest. The
current width of the road makes biking and running treacherous (I call this road the "widowmaker" when I tell my
wife where I am going to run)
2) Will they be able to keep the mature trees on the South side of the road, near the incline of the road? The
Dallas area lacks mature trees, so I hope they do not need to remove any of these trees.
Thank you, George and hope to receive your answer soon.
Best Regards,
Curt Carstens

Dear Mr. Marshall:
It was a pleasure speaking with you last night. Thank you very much for discussing the Deforest Road project
with everyone last night. I really appreciate your input regarding the upcoming work. The plans looked great.
I wondered what date the work is slated to officially commence? I forgot to ask you last night. I look forward to
