Project Issues:
I . 'BEd Bell Con,-StnECtion needs poles removed by TXU on the north side of the: easUwcst portion of
Coppell Road.
?. There is a new TXU line running east /west on the north side of the Callejo property that crosses
Coppell Road. This line is approximately 36" deep and dives deeper beneath the roadway.
3: '=The 10" existing waterline: was struck in efforts to install the new 12" waterline, across from the
Mansions entrance. Field adjustments were made to realign the proposed main, and City crews
supplied aclamp to make repairs to the old line still in service. The City asks that FA Bell furnistr
their maintenance crew with a replacement clamp and keep an c111ergency suppty for such
unforseen instances.
4. *Tree removal is in progress. Stump removal is scheduled to start on the east /west portion on
Monday, l 1 -8. Fence relocation will also begin, soon. Relocation should take approximately 3
days, per E.B.C. Ed Bell should contact Callejo to discusS the fence relocation. If there is
negative response to the issue, E.B. shrill cull FNI, and further action will be determined.

7. *Ed Bell must conttact TxDot prior to construction in their ROW. Ed Bell needs to have the Txl-)ot
permit on hand during this construction,
S. There is an unexpected RCP crossing Coppell Road at station 33 +07. The City will discclss this
issue with FN1 to determine how to deal with this pipe during paving operations.
i). 'Traffic and phasing plan Submitted on 11 -4. The council date for the review and approval cif this
plan is in December. FNI and the City will review this plan in the next week. Coppell
Construction is ready to begin culvert construction as soon as possible. The next council nleetinty
to consider road closure is December 14, 1999.
Ed BeII has talked to the owner of the trailer park property regetrding the bitch plant location and
fill site. The City expressed concern over this area being used as a fill site due to ttic concrete alid
voids still present in the ground. The site will have to be cleaned prior to use. The Ci ty wil l allow
the concrete to be ground to less than 6" in diameter and left on site. The sanitary sewer preselat
on the trailer park will have to be addressed. The owner wiI I have to address issues corace I'll in,-,
tree protection prier to land use. Overhead lines are supposed to be dead on the. site.
l 1. There seems, to be more sandy soils in this area than originally anticipated. The current subgrade
design for Coppell Road is a concern to the City. FNl will work with[ Werra Mar aruf Stantech to)
determine if any changes to the design are required.
12- Work expected in the next two weeks includes the tree removal, waterline, and possibly the 96"
RCP.
