pier cap in place of the specified RCCP. The ductile iron pipe would be concrete encased in th~ thrust block~

As OiscuGsed. we r{~quest to be allowed to substi~e the RGCP below ~he pier cap for
ductile iron, This change Is requested due to the fact that I ~ave experienced delays in
getting shop ~rawings and pipe from Gifford-Hill America.
The proposed change is detailed on the attached revi~ed copy of Dwg. 402-~ and will
allow the interior pedestal to be completed approximately six weeks earlier than If we
wait on the cyiinOer pipe. This change is proposed at "no aost - no crediL"
Please let me know If ins proposal is acceptable or not, ~oi can update the project
schedure accordingly.
