D HAVE TO BE DONE TWICE TO ACCOMODATE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1) THE FIRST CLOSURE WOULD BE FOR ONE DAY MINIMUM, TWO DAYS MAXIMUM. THIS CLOSURE WOULD BE FOR THE PURPOSE OF STABILIZING THE SUBGRADE. AN ASHPALT SURFACE FOR TRAFFIC WOULD BE PLACED FOR TRAFFIC TO RUN ON, THEN BETHEL SCHOOL COULD BE OPENED BACK-UF'. 2) THE SECOND CLOSURE WOULD BE FOR FOUR DAYS MINIMUM, SEVEN DAYS MAXIMUM. THIS CL. WE PROPOSE BUILDING A TEMPORARY ROAD iNTO THE PARK JUST NORTH OF WHERE THE NEW CONCRETE PAVING WILL STOP (APPROXIMAYELY 50~' NORTH OF THE EXISTING C I~TY PARK ENTRANCE. SEE A~TACHED DRAWING FOR DETAILS. THIS WOULD BE DONE TO ACCOMODATE COMPLETING THE ACCESS TO THE PARK IN TWO PHASES. THIS DISTURBED AREA WILL OF COURSE BE RESTORED TO IT'S ORIGINAL CONDITION. SUBJECT: :HE HANDLING OF' TRAFFIC WHILE WE ARE PAVING. IT' WILL BE NECESSARY TO ROUTE TRAFFIC BY FLAGMEN CONTROL AROUND OUR CONCRETE TRUCKS, AND BELT PLACER. THIS WILL NOT BE NECCESSARY ALL '[HE TIME, BUT MOST OF THE TIME. .BY THE CONTRACT WE ARE RESTRICTED TO WORKING BE]'WEEN THE HOURS OF 8:30 AM AND 4:30 PM WHEN WE ARE ON THE STREET. THE AREAS WE WILL BE WORKING PAVING FROM THE EXISTING STREET ARE OUTLINED ON THE ATTACHED PAVING PLAN.
