Letter of Permission
Dear Mr. Khorami:
This letter is written as a follow up to a letter you should have received in July 2007 expressing
the city's need for dedication of right of way or easement on your property. This earlier letter is
attached herewith for reference.
As of the writing of this letter the city has not yet acquired the necessary land to move forward
with this project. In the referenced letter we indicate that the plan is to begin construction in the
third Quarter of 2008. That is still the plan, however we must first acquire the land, and then
have the various franchise utilities (phone, gas, electricity, and cable) relocate their infrastructure
prior to beginning construction.
As a reminder, we are offering to compensate you for acquisition of this land based on values
determined by the Dallas Central Appraisal District. The attached letter from July details the
offer for acquisition of this parcel of land.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally make myself available to you for any questions,
comments, discussion, or counter offers you may wish to make concerning acquisition of this
land. Please call me at your convenience to discuss this issue, or to set up a time for me to meet
you at this location to lay out what we will be doing during this project.
I am in the office from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and can be reached directly at
972 - 304 -3681. lam also willing to meet outside those hours if it is easier for you. Please call me
in the office to make those arrangements as well.
We feel this project will be of great benefit to the City of Coppell as a whole, and that it will be
particularly beneficial to the Old Coppell Area.

LETTER OF PERMISSION
That, JALAL KHORAMI the undersigned, does hereby grant to the City of Coppell or
its employees, engineers, or contractors, permission to enter the properties owned or controlled
by them, being further described as the properties located at 449 Bethel Road and 701 Coppell
Road, for the purpose of removing existing pavement and constructing side - slopes for the
proposed Bethel Road II (ST 03 -01) project. This project consists of the reconstruction of Bethel
Road from Freeport Parkway to Denton Tap, and Coppell Road from Cooper Lane to Bethel
Road. Both roads will be reconstructed as two -lane concrete roadways with improved drainage
and sidewalks. The work on said properties generally consists of pavement removal and 4:1
slope grading necessary to tie the proposed finished ground elevation into the existing ground
elevation. This Letter of Permission includes the right to move equipment onto the property that
is necessary for the pavement removal and slope grading and the right of reasonable ingress and
egress across the property for the construction purposes as shown on the attached Exhibit.
Contractor will not be allowed to access said property for any other purposes other than the
pavement removal and slope grading.
The City of Coppell will also restore the land back to its original condition to the
maximum extent practicable. Where sod, shrubbery, and plants are removed during the
construction, such areas will have the same sod, shrubbery, and plants replaced in their prior
positions.
