Thanks for meeting with us yesterday. Mario Sinacola is in the process of surveying the utility lines on the east
and west side of Belt Line. We are going to start looking into a design that the sub-contractor has used tons of
times for the State, and I believe they said that they have used this in Coppell as well. According to the sub, it’s
a block structure in lieu of a pier (similar to what you originally recommended) that allows the private utility
conduit to run through the foundation. We’ll need to take a look at the structural component of it. This will
allow us to keep the poles in the same location as designed and try to avoid the foundation being above the City
wet utilities.
I’ll keep you updated as we resolve this.
