Re: Coppell Road South
Mr. Marvin,
I have the following change order request for the plan revisions C1-C4 prepared by Glenn Engineering
for Main Street Coppell/Old Town Addition. This change request is for the addition fill material required
to raise the finished pad grades (Block F Lot1-Lot32 & Block G Lot1-Lot12) from the proposed grades
in our original contract drawings to these drawings. As this is final grading of the lots I have constructed
the bid items in this COR differently. We now believe we have all of the necessary dirt onsite to make
the fills so the bid will be based on no import. I have also added the rough and final grading of these
lots to include the finished pad grading and swale grading between the lots, just as we typically bid
subdivision projects with lot grading.
Just for your information these new drawings dated 1/20/12 added another 743cy of additional dirt from
the last set.
1. Provide and place common fill on pads – 3861 cy @ $ 5.90/cy = $ 22,779.90
2. Rough grade lots – 44 ea @ $ 144.00/ea = $ 6,336.00
3. Fine grade lots – 44 ea @ $ 295.00/ea = $ 12,980.00
Total amount for this change request - $ 42,095.90
This pricing is based on this work being approved and the work beginning before we are completed
with the site excavation, as I have not included any remobilization cost in this pricing. Should this not be
approved before we are completed with the site excavation there will a remobilization cost of $ 8000.00
to be added to the above costs.
Should you have any questions please feel free to call me.

Marty Murphy
