Dear Sirs:
On July 10, 1973, the City Council of Coppell passed and approved
a resolution providing for the extension of Esters Road from State
Highway 114 north to the Coumty line utilizing the present road r~ght-
of-way from (1) Esters Road between SH 114 and Gentry Road; Cotton
Road and Bethel Road, (2) Coppell Road between Thweat Road and the
Cgunty line. The resolution also notated that the extension of Esters
Road be the number three priority in Coppell's recommendations for
Dallas County's fall bond issue.
As noted in Coppell's master plan, this road is a type "B" major
thoroughfare requiring 100 feet of right-of-way. This alignment is
in agreement with Dallas County's Cooperative Plan for Thoroughfare
Development.
