Allan,
This is a rough draft of the plat that was sent over by Brittan & Crawford. Keith Marvin took a look at it and has
a few things he needs to discuss with Brittain & Crawford so be aware that this is in no way the final version of
the plat. With that being said, we are sending you this now so that you can use it to help in your site plan
preparation. It should have everything you need, but we do have one outstanding issue for you in regards to
the water tank parcel. Our guys in public works said they would need a minimum of 12 feet around the tank to
maintain it. Would you prefer for us to retain the 12 feet around the water tank under our ownership, or would
you like us to plat it the way it is shown here and have a 12 - 20 foot access easement around the water tank?
You would be able to park on that easement, but you would not be able to put up a fence on your property line
or build on it in a manner that would prevent the City from being able to have ample room to maintain it.
Again, be aware that is not the final version of the plat. When it goes through the DRC process, we will get
feedback on any type of setbacks, utility easements, etc. that are needed, but it should have the information
you need to begin preparing your site plan.
Please copy everyone on your response so that Keith can convey your response to Brittain & Crawford.
