This continues the diary of a construction site, written for residents of all
0 ages. In the top photo, workers add concrete to a form as a paving machine in
0 the back forms it into a smooth stretch of road. In the bottom photo, after the
0 paving machine has shaped the concrete, workers use a long broom to create
shallow grooves, which will give the finished road more traction.
