Subject: Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Storage Tank

1is memo covers a few brief coordination effo~s ~ve need to ~ and complete this week concerning the
Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank.
1. Tank Logo.
We have specified that the con~actor is to paint two logos on the ta~ bowl at locations to be
dete~ined by the o~er. Landmark expects to complem the painting this week, weather pemitfing,
and begin placing the logos early next week.
The tank walls are slightly taller than we had sho~ in our cons~ction plans. 1erefore, the
con~actor has suggested a slightly taller logo. ~e role of thumb is for the logo to be 1/3 the height of
the tank wall. We understand the con~actor is willing to do this at no additional charge, but caution
that the logo will be both taller and LONGER. te larger logo may be too long, depending on the
orientation. We are enclosing a sketch of the longer logo and our recommended orientation. Please
review and notify us of your findings.
2. Radiographic Testing of Welds:
The con~actor has repoaed that La~ Davis has requested additional radio~aphic test of the welds.
As a reminder, we are providing those se~ices ~der our agreement with the Ci~. The number and
~e of test perfomed is in confomance with AWWA standards. All test perfomed have passed. We
respectfully request that if the Ci~ desires additional tests, a change order to our contact is considered
for the additional work.
3. Tentative Lift Date:
The contractor has indicated the tentative lift date is set of February 26' 1999. Of course this date is
highly dependent on weather and other factors. Among the other factors that could delay this target
date are additional testing of the welds and hold-ups due to the final logo determination. Please
review your calendar and let us know if this target date is acceptable. Of course, the contractor can
delay the lift date several days in order to accommodate your schedule.
