ST8503-CS 861015 Lone Star Gas Company October 15, 1986 Ginn, Inc. Mr. Gabe Favre 16135 Preston Road Suite 106 Dallas, Texas 75248 Dear Mr. Favre: On October 14, 1986, we met to discuss the City of Coppell's street improvement and drainage plans for Bethel School Road. During the week of October 6-10, we dug up our 8" gas main in several locations along Bethel School Road and took grade shots at each location. We then plotted this information on the plans that your firm furnished us. The information obtained indicates that our 8" main located along the north right-of-way line is in conflict with the proposed grade and the proposed drainage line. As we discussed in our meeting, to relocate the approximately 3500' of 8" gas main there are several factors to consider. The estimated cost of this project is $60,000.00 and it will take about fifty (50) days to prepare the paperwork, get approval, and secure bids. This number of days will put us into the winter months, and since this 8" line is our major feed line that supplies the City of Coppell, it will be almost impossible to take it out of service to make the necessary tie-ins. Not only will we be concerned with foul weather, but also temperatures below 40 degrees. The type and severity of weather we get will certainly affect our time frame in completing this project. I would estimate forty-five (45) working days to complete our work. Sincerely, VJerry A. Sauer C&R Supervisor Coppell JAS/slb
