Dear Mr. Lacy:
On October 8, 1992, I provided information to you concerning a claim filed against the City by
Mr. Peter Teo Klan-Boon. Mr. Teo Kian-Boon stated that during the construction of Denton Tap
Road that his car hit a rock and his right front tire was punctured. The extent of the damages
was a towing fee and the replacement of the front tire. The total amount of the damages was
$120.00.
Based on the particulars surrounding this claim, it is my opinion that the contractor on the project
probably had some liability in the resolution of this claim in 1989. In an attempt to settle this
claim and move forward, a check in the amount of $120.00, made out to Mr. Teo Kian-Boon,
should be forwarded to the City of Coppell for processing to Mr. Teo Klan-Boon.
