ST8201-CS 890511GINN, INC. May 11, 1989 Mr. Russell Doyle, P.E. City of Coppell P.O. Box 478 Coppell, TX 75019 CONSULTING ENGINEERS Re: Denton Tap Road Improvements from Belt Line Road to Sandy Lake Road - McDonalds Dear Mr. Doyle: This letter is in response to your Handwritten Memorandum dated 4/24/89 with a handwritten note dated 5/7/89. The weather we have experienced since May 2, 1989 has caused a delay of about 4 working days (6 calendar days) in completion of the section of pavement in front of McDonalds. According to the Contractor's stated intentions in the Monday, May 8, 1989 progress meeting, he intends to pour the two outside lanes this Thursday and the inside lane and two driveways this Friday. This will roughly translate to possibly opening driveways and the new paving by Tuesday afternoon, May 16, 1989, if the concrete test cylinders break above 3000 psi. This schedule "guestimate" does not include any lost time due to further weather problems. Please call me if you have any questions. Sincerely, John C. Karlsruher, P.E.
