I have received a copy of the letter you wrote to Mr. and Mrs. Fikes. At the top
of the second page you stated, "At this time there have been no preliminary estimates
of assessments made .... " You correctly used the word "assessments," however, for
the purpose of establishing a record, we may want to make it clear to them that
although there has been no estimate of assessments, we have determined the "estimated
cost" from which assessments will be determined after a hearing. We might consider
doing this in the near future as we move closer to a date for the public hearing.
