Fire Hydrant Relocation - Denton Tap/Southwestern Blvd.
Dear Mr. Doyle:
In response to your inquiry regarding the above referenced
subject, we offer the following comments.
The plans originally called for only a vertical adjustment of
this fire hydrant at this location. Relocation was not
anticipated during the design phase due to the proposed roadway
location not presenting any conflicts. During construction
however, the roadway was required to be shifted further north in
order to line up with Southwestern Town Lot Corporation's
proposed Southwestern Boulevard Improvements (Gateway Park at
Coppell). During this field change in alignment, via
miscommunication, the fire hydrant did not get relocated at the
same time and the resulting situation (ie. additional cost for
move-in) occurred.
The relocation work was completed the week of February 20, 1989.
