Inspection / Testing consisted of: Visual Inspection of Welds on the Roof top sheel plate to plate
connections for Compliance x~,ith Job Specifications, Contract Documents, Dmx~ngs and Governing Codes
} AWS, AWWA. ASME.AISC,ASNT, ASTM, ANSI.
Identification / Location of Inspection / Testing: Roof Top Shell plate to plate connections.
Roof shell plates are 100% erected. Welding complete on approx. 35% on plate to plate connections.
Results of Inspection / Testing: Visual quality of welds are in compliance.
Welders Qualification Records and Welding Procedures were reviewed at the jobsite and are in
Compliance.

Includes interior side of three (3) roof sheets and the equivalent of two (2)
drops on interiorSheel)and cone. Move clockwise from 2-! 7-99's location west to northwest side
complete cone sheet drop, move clockwise, blast shell and cone, move clockwise, blast shell. Each
drop approximately 20 feet wide.
Results SSPC-SP 10 cleanliness achieved. Profile average is 2.45 mils. Blowdown with blast hoses
after sand is shut off.
Area Coated Is same as area blasted. Coat interior of tank first, wait for wind to die down to
coat the roof sheets so sand does not blow into wet paint. Batch numbers for Tnemec Series FC-20 are
part "A" KC 1999010652, part "B" KC 1999010503, ~4 thinner KC 1998109140. Airless spray application
to interior, 5:05 p.m. to 6:10 p.m., to roof sheets from 6:20 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.

Area Coated Is area blasted and also recoat to existing primer on east side where dry film
thickness' are low. Roller application because wind is out of the east and blowing towards the ware-
house next door. Paint used is Tnemec Series FC-20, beige, batch numbers are part "A" KC1999010652,

Area Coated Is the entire exterior surface of the tank. Coating used is Tnemec Series FC-20
Pota-Pox, color AA90 white in ten (10) gallon kits. Batch numbers are part "A" KC 1998100326 and
KC1999010666, part "B" KC1999010503, #4 thinner KC1998109140. Material temperature is 53 degrees.
First mix is at 2:10 p.m. Airless spray application, four (4) spray guns, two (2) pumps. Using 517 tips on
shell and 415 tips on cone sheets. Spray application starts at 2:25 p.m. Ran out of color AA90 white

Results Contractor is going to apply the finish coat to shell sheets first and then drop down and
paint the cone sheets. Coating used is Tnemec Series 74 Endura-Shield, color tank white. Batch
numbers for the five (5) gallon kits are part "A" TX 1999020061, part "B" KC1998075080 and KC 1998-
105040. No accelerator used. MEK was the thinner used for this paint. Used approximately 24 ounces
per gallon. Airless spray application using four (4) guns (two spray pumps), 517 tips on shell sheets
and 415 tips on cone sheets. First mix was at 1: 10 p.m. Shell application from 1:20 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
