Re: Denton Tap Road Improvements from Belt Line Road to Sandy Lake Road, Coppell, Texas Dear Mr. Snyder: The purpose of this letter is to transmitt six (6) sets of revised drawings to you for use as the current Contract Sets on the project. These drawings are clearly marked with "CONTRI%CT SET" stamped twice on the cover sheet with the date 6 - 16 - 88 written between the two stamps. Upon reciept of these drawings please discard your other sets, or otherwise remove them from the project site in order to avoid confusion. We have attached a listing of the sheets which have been changed showing their current revision numbers. We have not completely updated the quantities listed on sheets 3, 4, and 5, but have tabulated the approximate changes in quantities on the attached sheets entitled "6/28/88 tabulation of field change quantities J - 378". The changes in quantities are primarily due to adjustments to, and additons of left turn lanes and median openings serving existing uses. These changes and additions have resulted from the input of the adjacent property owners. As previously mentioned to you, Item 432, Concrete Rip Rap (RR 8), pertaining to the Grapevine Bridge was the other significant quantity change. Under the provisions of the Contract Agreement, this is not a major item of work, and therefore does not warrant an adjustment in Unit Price. All items considered, the abovementioned changes i~. the estimated quantities result in a reduction of $56,648.29 in the Total Estimated Contract Amount.
