RE: Sandy Lake Road Project ST 93-02
On June 21, 2001, we conducted our monthly meeting with the contractor for Sandy Lake Road. At
the meeting, the contractor informed us that in an attempt to accelerate the construction of the
Sandy Lake Road/MacArthur intersection, he will begin working on the second and third leg of the
intersection next week. Those two legs include the northeast comer (by the convenience store) and
the northwest comer (by Kroger). We had not anticipated the construction beginning on the third
leg until later in the summer.
The construction on the third leg (northwest corner by Kroger) will reduce
southbound traffic to one lane.
! have informed Sharon Logan and she is revising the Webpage, Channel 19, the water bill insert,
and the bimonthly insert for the newspaper.
