Mr. Ratliff, attached is. correspondence from Jack Gray, attorney
-representing Mr. John Adams. Mr. Gray has requested a meeting with
all interested parties on September 30, 1988 at the referenced location
on the attached letter in order to discuss this matter further.
At your request I attended the meeting on May 24, 1988 where all parties
discussed the matter. The posture taken at the meeting was simply
to observe and listen to the comments expressed by all representatives.
Once that meeting concluded, I advised Mr. Gray that if he cared to
keep us apprised of what transpired, please do so. It would appear
from this letter that he has done so.
Larry Jackson has been carbon-copied on all correspondence that has
been-generated from Mr. Gray's office and is carboned on this letter
as well. If you have no objection, I will ask Larry Jackson to attend
this meeting along with myself. I believe that we would be frugal
if our City Engineer Russell attended as well.
Please advise after you review this matter. Thank you.

This letter is to confirm a meeting date for us to continue
our discussion of the matter of the drainage easement across the
land of John Adams in Coppe11. The meeting will be as follows:

Since our last meeting, the representatives of Shell Oil Co.

perspective.

Mr. Adams will have his Ranch Fore,an at the property at
10:00 A.M. on that date to assist you in a personal examination
of the property. So that you may be able to 'identify the
location of the. easement, stakes have been placed down the center
line and along each side.
It would be my suggestion that we have a relaxed dress code.
It would not be appropriate for you to wear a suit to the.
property. It may be necessary for you to climb a fence or to
ascend and descend a steep embankment. In the event we are lucky
enough to have rain by then, it might oven bo muddy.

We have employed an engineer who is compiling a report,
which he will present at the mooting. Tho request has been made
that the report cover all tho alternatives available to correct
the situation. If you have suggestions or questions, ho will be
at your disposal to work with you.

of Coppell with the request that someone attend the meeting to
monitor the projections for drainage changes in the area.
