Property Owner's Concern about Drainage
].21 Business Park
City Attorney Larry Jackson and I met on two (2) occasions
t:o discuss the above referenced matter. We reviewed the
official plat filed and tried to determine whether the City
of Coppell was identified as receiving the drainage easement
which is discharging the water that, according to the property
owner, is caus:[ng the erosion.
Larry Jackson at our last meeting stated that he would submit
a letter to your office informing you of the situation.
At that meeting, Larry suggested that staff review the records
of the City and from those try and determine whether any
men t:ion of dedication of a drainage easement was noted.
:'~taff has researched the files and have not found anything
~hat wo~ld substantiate the drainage easement being dedicated
I:o Lhe City and tine subsequent maintenance.
On the plat which is part of the official records, the
easement in question is identified as... 100 ft. Brazes
?',l. ect:ric easement.
I w:i 11 meet with Larry briefly at the March 30th Director' s
~.~el:~ing to dicuss this matter. If you have any questions,
please advise.
