Dear Ken,
At a meeting today with our builder Ron Pierson with Bullard Construction and Mike
Batten our architect, I was informed that we have not received our Grading Permit. It
was my understanding from you that after P & Z approval all that was needed was City
Council approval upon which the Grading Permit would be forth coming shortly
thereafter. It has now been a month and the permit has not been issued. I understand if
there are minor details that still need to be worked out, but we would appreciate the
expediency of this permit so that we may proceed with our building. As you know
interim financing is expensive and the fall is quickly approaching with all of its
unpredictable weather. Staying on schedule is very important to us since our move out
date for our current facility is early spring. In order to meet this deadline we need
desperately to begin moving dirt on Monday October 13, 1997.
We appreciate your help with this matter and look forward to moving to Coppell.
