RE: First Construction Review Comments for Church of the Apostles Lot 1, Block A
Dear Mr. Furlong:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. On the paving and grading plan, show the radii at the ingress/egress, the 5' sidewalk
proposed along MacArthur Blvd. and the 100-year floodplain limit.
2. On the utility plans, install a 6" double detector check with a vault for the fire line.
3. Install all meters and vaults in right-of-way or easements.
4. Install double detector checks for the irrigation and domestic meters.
5. Show the flow arrows for the sewer line.
6. On the drainage calculations, use a "C" of 0.9 for areas A,B,C,D,E & G. Also, include
areas B,C,D,E & F for future development. Use an intensity value of 8.88 for time of
concentration of 10 min.
7. On the off-site sewer plan, show the flow arrows and remove the 6" stubout and connect
new 10" line to existing sanitary sewer manhole.
8. Remove the paving details from the plans. The contractor shall purchase a set of City of
Coppell standard construction details and have on site at all times or the project will be shut
down by the inspector.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
