Per the City of Coppell Erosion and Sedimentation Control Code, Ordinance//91514, this letter is written to provide 10 days notice that the mud in the alleys should be cleaned up and appropriate erosion control measures installed to prevent the problem from occurring again. The 10 day period is scheduled to end on January 2, 1998. If on January 5, 1998 this property is not cleaned with appropriate erosion control measures in place, the City will consider various options afforded to them by the Erosion Control Ordinance. The first option will be to enter upon the property and make the necessary improvements ourselves and charge the cost back to the property owner. Along with that, the City will stop any inspections on on-going homes being constructed in the subdivision and request that the Building Inspection Department not provide any additional permits for new homes until this problem has been resolved. I regret that we have been forced to write a letter of this nature. However, the ongoing erosion problem cannot continue to be allowed. The City requests that you make every attempt immediately to correct and resolve the problem. Again, this is your official 10 day notification. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me or Mike Martin at (972)304-3679. Sincerelyp Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
