Yesterday, we faxed you a sketch of the encasement pipe requirements for the Sandy Lake Road Water Line
across tile Forest Bend Drive entrance road to Forest Cove, Phase I. You should be receiving the original to
that sketch in today's regular mail.
You a}so requested we provide you with our opinion of cost for both boring the crossing and installing an
encasement pipe. Please find attached our estimate of each approach. It appears there may be some cost
savings by jnstalling the encasement pipe now, especially if you have developer participation. I have not
evaluated the cost for open cutting this entrance mad, as I do not fully understand the extent of the streetscape
amenities.
Also, yesterday I discussed the change order with Landmark Structures. They expect to have a cost proposal
to us by Wednesday. We have also contact Gifford Hill American; they re-confirmed delivery of the pipe as
we outlined in our previous memo.
