RE: BLOOMING COLORS NURSERY DEVELOPMENT EASEMENTS
Dear Ms. Bowman:
As both a resident and business owner in Coppell, I am very
supportive of the high standards of the City's Master Plan.
I appreciate the staff's help in reviewing the Blooming
Colors Nursery development so it meets these requirements.
With this said, I would like to express our opinion that the
addition of a 30 foot hike and bike easement on the south
end of the Blooming Colors Nursery Addition is not the best
use of the land. We,d? not support thSs easement.
With the development of the Valley Ranch Centre (Tom Thumb),
an easement was not left for this hike and bike trail to
begin and it would abruptly end in the flood plain which
borders the east of this land. With no access at either
end, it does not seem feasible that anyone would use such a
trail. This trail would also lead to a direct increase in
liability for our company.
Please call if you have any questions.
continuing our working relationship.
I look forward to
Sincerely yours,
Barry A. Johnson, P.E.
