Dowdey and Associates 16250 Dallas Parkway, Suite 100 Dallas, TX 75248 RE: Austin Place Construction Plans Dear Mr. Anderson: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. Provide the plan approval paragraph for the City of Coppell on the title sheet. 2. The typical paving section shown on Plate No. 2 needs to show that the proposed pavement will be doweled into the existing pavement. Please provide detail. 3. A temporary drive should be provided to the apartment complex on the east side of Moore Road. 4. Provide a barricade detail for the widening of Moore Road. 5. Provide a note stating that the contractor shall adjust all valves and manholes. 6. Traffic buttons should be provided for the centerline of Moore Road. 7. The following statement should be added to the typical paving section on Plate No. 2. "6" 3500 PSI reinforced concrete pavement - 28 day cylinder". 8. Referring to the sanitary sewer profiles, Line 'B' and Line 'C', show the water ~- lines crossing and concrete encase if the lines cross within the 24" minimum clearance. -- 9. On the Grading Plans the finished pad elevation for Lot 13 of Austin Court appears to be wrong. Please verify and correct. 10. On the Erosion Control Plans, provide a note stating that the hay bales will be embedded 4 to 6 inches in the ground and set at the property line. There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
