Landscaping/Irrigation/Screening Wall Plans
Dear Mr. Leeming:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following
comments to offer:
1. Provide a cover sheet for the landscaping plans.
2. Provide a note stating that all existing trees need to be trimmed and properly
pruned before the project acceptance.
3. Irrigation controllers need to have freeze sensors, rain sensors and surge
protection.
4. In the past, the mixing of brick and stone has caused many citizen complaints.
Please contact the Director of Planning, Gary Sieb, at (214) 462-0639 to discuss
this mixture.
5. The screening wall should be designed by a licensed professional engineer. Also,
provide a site plan showing the location of the proposed screening wall.
6. The items circled in red are not on the City's approved plant palette.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have
been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you
