Gentlemen:
We have reviewed the executed contract documents and bonds and request the following corrections:
1. The Performance Bond was revised by Addendum No. 1, to eliminate any reference to the one year
maintenance period. This contract requires a two year maintenance agreement, backed by a Maintenance
Bond. We are enclosing five revised copies of the Performance Bond and five copies of the required
Maintenance Bond. Please have both executed and return all sets to our office.
2. Article 4 of the Standard Form of Agreement between the Owner and the Contractor, requires the
breakdown of non-taxable tangible items actually incorporated into the project. This section of the
agreement was not filled out. We are returning all five copies of the Agreement for you to complete.
3. Item 1.26 of the General Provisions requires the contractor to provide an Owner's Protective Liability
policy naming the owner and engineer as insureds. We did not find a certificate of insurance as evidence
that the required policy was provided.
We are returning all five copies of the proposal, agreement, and payment bond. Please return the corrected
documents to our office at your earliest convenience.
