Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Rear Service Drive Redo Braewood Shopping Center Dear Mr. Morton: Please find attached a copy of a topo survey performed by Mr. Jay Hersey. This information served as the basis for our Engineering Group to rework the grades of the new concrete pavement and to extend the current underground drainage by adding another inlet. We have also attached a copy of our drainage calculations showing that this facility is adequate for a potential 100 year storm with an intensity of 10.5 inches per hour for a 5 minute duration. Please note that we have designed this pavement as a 7 inch thick slab with Number 4 bars on 18 inch centers. We have thickened the slab by 2 inches in lieu of 6 inch lime stabilization. This is simply the most practical solution since only 150 feet of this service drive can be open for construction at any given period of time according to the Coppell Fire Marshal. I have personally sealed all of our plans and trust that these meet the requirements of the City of Coppell. If you have any questions or suggestions, please give me a call.
