We will not be closing the intersection of Bethel and Coppell Roads. The closure will be of Bethel Road from Coppell to Mitchell. I'm not sure we need to send this out yet. -----Original Message----- From: Sharon Logan To: Keith Marvin <KMARVIN@coppelltx.gov> To: Mindi Hurley <MHURLEY@coppelltx.gov> To: Matt Steer <MSTEER@coppelltx.gov> Sent: 8/18/2011 3:18:37 PM Subject: Need your help, please! Text for water bill insert. Going to press this afternoon. Old Coppell Construction All Businesses to Remain Open Farmers Market to Temporarily Relocate The Engineering Dept. is preparing for the reconstruction of roadway at the intersection of Coppell and Bethel Roads. This project is a part of the revitalization of Old Coppell. The project consists of the reconstruction of the existing 2-lane asphalt road, streetscape improvements in the historic downtown area, storm drain improvements, and the replacement of water lines. The physical intersection of Bethel and Coppell Roads will be completely closed to all traffic. Traffic will be detoured during the reconstruction. All businesses will remain open and accessible. The Coppell Farmers Market will temporarily relocate to the corner of Burns Street and Coppell Road. Parking for the Farmers Market is available along South Coppell Road, just north of Southwestern Blvd. The timeline for reconstruction is still being developed. Please check the web site, at www.coppelltx.gov , for up to date information concerning road closures and detour routes.
