ST1002-CS111114 (3) Page 1 of 4 Keith Marvin - RE: Old Town Coppell Project From:   Dan Prendergast <drp@freese.com> To:   Keith Marvin <kmarvin@coppelltx.gov> Date:   11/14/2011 4:46 PM Subject:   RE: Old Town Coppell Project CC:   Tricia Hatley <thh@freese.com> Attachments:   Old Town Coppell - Sanitary Sewer Clarification.pdf   Keith,   See below for responses to the Sanitary Sewer questions   1.UT-14 and UT-15 between MH’s 10+93.94 and 15+15.62:  The FL elevation on the manhole at STA        15+15.62 is called out wrong in the plans (the line work is correct).  The FL at STA 15+15.62 should be 507.31 (FL out) and 507.41 (FL in).  The pipe length is also incorrect and should be 421.68’ for a pipe slope of 0.40%.  Please see attached drawings for further clarification. 2.UT-16: The FL callouts for the MH’s at STA’s 16+57.90, 17+87.90 and 21+36.80 are reversed with        respect to IN and OUT.  Please see attached drawing for further clarification. 3.UK-1 and UT-20:  There is not a proposed SS line (or WL) in the Retail Alley.  All services should        connect to the existing line along Hammond (as shown on sheet UT-20).  The proposed SD line was shown for reference.  Please see the attached drawings for further clarification.   I forwarded the signal questions to our traffic guys and we will review them tomorrow morning and get back to you.   Also, would you like me to attend the meeting tomorrow?   Thanks   Dan Prendergast, E.I.T. The profile on Sheet UT-15 calls that line to be 215 LF @ 0.33%. Calculated, the distance between those manholes is 421.68 linear feet. Holding the flow lines called out in the plans results in a slope of 0.19446%. So, that means there is either a missing structure (manhole) or the linear footage and slope are called out incorrectly. The digital files for this project are difficult to deal with and I have been working with Terry and Drew at JRJ to obtain a more comprehensive data set. This will allow me to have the data available to the crews on an as needed basis. Please advise as to a convenient time to meet.
