Greg,
I will be out of the office next Tuesday for training. I have forwarded your comment to FNI, and they have
indicated that they have received several suggested revisions to the conduit plan. They are going to try to set a
meeting with all the utilities some time in the next 2 weeks (preferably the regular Tuesday meeting on 12/13)
to ensure that all necessary changes are incorporated into our conduit plan, then issue a revision to the
contractor. Hopefully we have reached a decision on the Verizon/Time Warner issue, and the newly issued sheet
can reflect that as well.

Hi Keith:
I noticed what may be a conflict in the joint trench plan and wanted to get your opinion.
Oncor’s layout by Rick Fielding put the service court transformers within the parking area but away from the
buildings like I asked. When this is constructed, the transformer pads would never be within 10’ of a door or
window as Oncor requires for single-phase.
Except for the south transformer pad which has sufficient distance from the building, the 5 others should be in an
island or surrounded by bollards as Rick designed.
It looks like the final conduit plan needs to be adjusted to achieve this?
If you have a chance to look at it before Tuesday, that’s great or we can look at it then.

Keith,
The attached ONCOR plan that Greg sent out was not the most current one in use. That said, the markups that
he “bubbled” on that old plan are accommodated in the other attachment; the FN Conduit plan from the bid
set.
One other point; we have still not received updated plans from Verizon or Atmos that accommodate the
ONCOR alignment.
My recommendation and our intent was to not revise conduit sheets / alignment as we go through
construction.
Considering the tepid response and cooperation we received from the utilities during design, we always knew
that our conduit plan would be the ~80% solution.
I believe that we need to address Greg’s concerns but the best process would be to sit all of the utilities around
the table and not leave the room until complete.
If we get buy in from all parties on the final plan, then we may want to produce an updated conduit sheet. But
until this type of meeting, I just believe we won’t have accurate enough information to warrant a new sheet.
Plus the timing is not in our favor to coordinate this all by email and phone.
We will of course pick up the changes on the record drawings.
I would recommend that we schedule a meeting next week including (mandatory) all of the following:
