Date:   12/23/2011 4:00 PM Subject:   RE: soil sampler installation CC:   "Don Koos" <dkoos@koosinc.com>   The soil gas samplers are installed and locations are marked with orange flags - 18 samplers total in a 6 sampler by 3 sampler grid.  Please take care not to disturb the flags or samplers, and we will return to collect them about mid-day on Wednesday Dec 28.  It will probably take us 1-2 hours to collect them. If Wed is not convenient, please let me know (972-989-1583).  Thanks!  Valerie From: Valerie Honeycutt Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2011 9:50 AM To: 'Mindi Hurley'; 'Keith Marvin'; 'Richard Odell' Cc: Don Koos Subject: RE: soil sampler installation I just heard from the line locater. We are on schedule to install the soil samplers Friday "tomorrow". He found and marked the missing gas line.   Thanks, Valerie From: Valerie Honeycutt Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2011 6:56 PM To: 'Mindi Hurley'; 'Keith Marvin'; 'Richard Odell' Cc: Don Koos Subject: soil sampler installation FYI - I received a call from the Digtess line locators earlier saying that they couldn't locate the gas line that went from the road to the on-site building so they had to submit the locate to another department.  Apparently with the above-ground piping gone, they rely on a transmitter that was supposed to be placed in the line, but that must not have worked. A supervisor is supposed to come out to try and locate the line, but according to the guy I spoke to, they are allowed an additional 5 days to complete the locate.  Since this line would be in the area we will be sampling, it may still be an active line, and it could be at a depth we could reach with our drill bit, it would be a bad idea to proceed without their go-ahead.  I was hoping they would contact me before I left today, but no luck as of yet so I thought I should give you a heads up.  I will contact the supervisor tomorrow and see if he plans to get out tomorrow to find the line.  If he finds it, we'll continue on as planned with a Friday install.  If he needs more time, and with your approval, we can shift the install to next week, hopefully Dec 29-30, and the retrieval for Jan 3-4, and still take advantage of a holiday weekend.   Valerie Honeycutt, P.G. #4450 Senior Project Manager   Koos & Associates, Inc. 10410 Markison Road Dallas, Texas  75238-1650 WP (214) 341-5377 file://C:\Documents and Settings\radloo\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4EF4A5A4City_...4/23/2012 Page 1 of 3 Keith Marvin - RE: invasive soil screening workplan From:   "Valerie Honeycutt" <vhoneycutt@koosinc.com> To:   "Greg Yancey" <gregyancey@verizon.net>, "Mindi Hurley" <mhurley@coppellt...
