Keith, attached is the proposed design by Time Warner.
They sent it to us today and Dan and I discussed it with them via phone.
We are still waiting on the Atmos plan. I will follow up again with Gary Dickenson.
Once we have Atmos, we will revise the conduit plan. I hesitate to do anything until we see what Atmos
proposes.
One question that Time Warner had was the following:
“Is there a preference on vault versus pedestal? Didn’t know if the city had requirement or preference”
We do not have a standard detail on the pedestal but will ask for one. The vault is the 17”x30”, similar to the
Verizon standard detail.
Time Warner has also requested 3” PVC. We designed 2” based on the Verizon plan and that is what was priced
in the bid. Therefore there will probably be some difference in how pricing is negotiated with them.

I don’t believe there is a preference but be advised that some of the areas are limited in space and going to
accommodate multiple surface features from other utilities. So less is best as far as size.

Thomas, at this point assume that there will be an additional charge for the stub outs. If you can break that out,
it will be easier to account for if it ends up not being an additional charge.
You can provide your own vault / hand hold details. The ones listed were provided by the other utilities. If you
can use the ones provided, it may be easier for due to standardization. If not, just present your own standard
details.

Chris, I am currently working on the proposed Hand Hole Locations. I have a couple of questions: 1. Pipe Stub
Up Locations: Will there be an additional charge beyond the original pricing list you gave us, to stup up pipe
where we need it, so that we can come back and install our own peds? 2. Vault Types: Do we have to chose
between the 2 types(Sizes) of vaults on the list you provided, or Can we provide the vaults to the JT contractor,
that we want to use? Marty and I will give you a call within a couple of hours to discuss, after I get the proposed
HH locations mapped out and emailed to you.

Marty, here are the conduit plan sheets that we discussed in the meeting on Tues.
I have also included ONCOR and Verizon’s latest take on their alignment.
Our conduit plan sheets will eventually be revised once we get final input from all utilities, including Time
Warner.
We will then distribute the updated conduit plan and details.
The bid prices for the conduit related items to this project are the following:
2” PVC Conduit: $8.24 / LF
3” PVC Conduit: $8.24 / LF
4” PVC Conduit: $10.30 / LF
6” PVC Conduit: $12.36 / LF
30” x 48” x 36” Pull boxes: $3,090 each
