Results:
On April 5, 2012 reinforcing steel was observed at the following locations:
•
• Retaining Wall Spread Footing from (approximately) Station 15 +55 to 15+02
The following discrepancies were noted and called to the attention of Manuel, a representative of
California Construction. ,
■ Footing width would require excavation beneath existing adjacent alley paving. Contractor was
instructed to use traffic cones in alley as required and dig to required footing width.
■ Rebar was not placed in entire toe of footing due to presence of adjacent fence post footing and
incomplete excavation beneath alley pavement. Instructed c•:. ' or t& dig behind fence post
footing to required dimensions and to use fence bracing,. : -8 till cone ete placement.
