Carrollton-CS 890714 Coppell, Texas 75019 /~ ;hoeBoC~t4Y78With A Beautiful Future 214-462-0022 C~pell, Texas 75019 MARK WOLFE Office of the Mayor July 14, 1989 To all Officers in the following Homeowners Associations: The Meadows Parkwood The Villages of Coppell The ratification of the ordinance vote for the proposed private landfill in Carrollton has been delayed. It was scheduled for this Tuesday, July 18, but because a "couple of (Carrollton) councilmen"are wanting to relook at this issue, the ratification has been rescheduled for August 18, 1989. It is imperative that we continue to fight this issue. I am asking our Coppell city councilmen to send letters and make telephone calls. I would also like to ask you to either individually or corporately send letters to the Carrollton City Council. I believe that we still have a good chance to fight this issue at the local level, before it ever gets to the county or state level. Your letters can be sent to: Mayor and City Council City of Carrollton 1945 Jackson P. O. Box 110535 Carrollton, Texas 75011-0535 The City Secretary's office in Carrollton will copy each letter to every councilperson. Each letter can be very important. Thank you so very much for your cooperation.
