I am addressing your memo dated 10/19/89, regarding the Mobil
Oil/Valley Ranch Center Utility Construction along Beltline Rd.
from the Mobil Oil property east to Valley Ranch East property
line.
Tom Huffines has provided a revised construction detail sheet which
I had requested showing the location and proposed location of the
12" water main and the 8" sanitary sewer, the detail sheet showing
the location of utilities is now in our office for your approval.
The sanitary sewer lateral referenced to as being on private
property is the 4" private service from the Mobil Station to the
sanitary sewer manhole at Beltline Road, which was constructed
under RFJ construction, Inc. contract with mobil Oil. The proper
installation and location of a sewer service is the responsibility
of the Contractor and to be inspected by Building Inspections.
I have made contact with Bud Beene with Dallas County to discuss
how they were affected by the utility construction at the Mobil
Oil site. Bud Beene indicated to me that a field problem had
existed, but was now corrected. Dallas County is now proceeding
with construction in that area.
