Dear Mr. Thian:
This letter is written in response to the referenced plans received by the City on November
7, 2005. The City has reviewed those plans and offers the following comments:
1.On Sheet 3 for signs D and F, the street name is Dividend Drive (not Divident). Please
revise all signs accordingly.
2.It appears as though all conduit and opticom equipment is to be furnished by the City of
Coppell for the intersection in Coppell and by Irving for the intersection in Irving. Has
consideration been given to bidding these items as part of their project and then having
the individual cities pay the bid amount to TxDOT?
3.In lieu of loop detection, was video detection considered for this intersection?
