Griffin, P.E., City Engineer ~ Early Building Permits - Big Cedar Addition June 8, 1992 I have recently received a request for early building permits on five lots within the Big Cedar subdivision from Mr. Tim House, of Matthews Southwest. The lots requested are Lots 7, 10, 15, 35 and either Lot 2 or 16. The engineering department has no objections to the issuance of those early building permits providing the following conditions are met: 1) Elevation certifications will be required on Lots 2, 7 and 10. 2) No Certificates of Occupancy should be issued on any lots until the construction of Harris/Bethel School Road from Plantation to the Big Cedar addition is complete and accepted by the City. 3) The building permit on Lot 7 should not be issued until the inlet in front of Lot 7 is complete. That completion can be verified through Larry Davis of the engineering department, when the permit is requested on Lot 7. 4) Access will be required at all times for fire protection. This means that during construction, the portion of Harris Road between Brooks Lane and the Big Cedar Addition must be kept open. 5) The plat should be filed. 6) The following items must be completed: water meters set, sanitary sewer manholes adjusted, water valves adjusted and the parkway should be shaped and backfilled. This overflow channel should be constructed at %he time the house is constructed. If it is already in place, it should remain in this general configuration after the house is completed. Also, on the same photo copy, notice the note concerning the slope protection on the backs of Lots 3, 4, and 5.
