"Tom" (I guess it's either Whatley or Cansler?) called wanting to know how soon they could start construction since they
turned in another set of plans last week and he expected them to be reviewed, stamped and ready to go and seemed
disappointed you weren't here, wanted to know who could approve them in your absence, etc., etc...
I told him you would be back tomorrow and would call him to let him know the status of plan review and when he might
expect them to be approved for construction. I don't know why he assumed they already were (approved, that is).
